Tour Manager Dane Wolf Beaten in Denver, Family Seeking Help
Time to support your metal brethren, headbangers!
Dane Wolf, a guitar tech and tour manager for many of your favorite metal bands, in addition to being an "all around good dude," was badly beaten in Denver, Colorado last week while on tour with Death Angel, Testament and Anthrax tour. Wolf had to drop off the tour to recuperate and his mother Jenna Wolf is seeking assistance for her son's medical bills via a fundraising page. Since the road is where Wolf earns his living, having to go off the road certainly presents financial problems for him.
Jenna Wolf, Dane's sister, posted the following note on his Give Forward page, which is here.
"Please help in whatever way you can by assisting with his medical bills and upcoming travel expenses to and from Colorado when things go to court. There will be additional medical costs in the future as well, as he continues to recover and requires follow-up care. The goal has now been raised due to the amazing response of Dane's friends and family. Thank you so much for your continued support, and for sharing the link, and his story!"
Fortunately, half of the necessary monies have been raised. You can help raise $3750 to meet the $7500 total. Please donate what you can, as Wolf is halfway to the finish line.
Wolf issued this update on Monday about his status and we're so happy to see that he has a great sense of humor and a healthy attitude as he recovers. Get better Dane, we're pulling for you!
