When we last left off with the Amity Affliction, the band and director Mark Staubach were delivering a powerful visual for the song "I Bring the Weather With Me" in which the guys came to bury one of their own, but the story was not complete. The band is now giving fans a look at how the story continues with the Staubach-directed video for the title track of their This Could Be Heartbreak album.

As can be seen, co-vocalist Ahren Stringer appears to be having quite a difficult time in the aftermath of fellow vocalist Joel Birch's fate, but the buried Birch may not be as ready for the afterlife as initially thought. Watch it all play out in rather cinematic fashion in the video above.

"This Could Be Heartbreak" comes from the album of the same name, which will be arriving via Roadrunner Records on Aug. 12. The hard-hitting disc comes from a deeply personal place for the band as Birch laid his personal desperation bare in the music for all to hear. If you like what you hear from "I Bring the Weather With Me" and "This Could Be Heartbreak," the album is currently available to pre-order in both digital and physical formats.

Look for The Amity Affliction touring in support of the new album beginning in August, with dates in Australia. They'll head to the U.S. for dates beginning Sept. 10 at the High Elevation Festival in Denver, Colo. Being as an Ocean, Hundredth and Trophy Eyes will be on a majority of shows during the North American run. See all of their dates here.
