Balancing their attack with equal amounts of brute metallic force and hook-filled nuances, The Amity Affliction are in a great spot. With two full-lengths already under their belts (2008's Severed Ties and 2010's Youngbloods), the Australian post-hardcore group is poised for big things with their next album, Chasing Ghosts.

Produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Falling in Reverse, Ratt) and mixed by Will Putney (For Today, Upon a Burning Body), Chasing Ghosts is easily The Amity Affliction's finest work yet, with songs like "R.I.P. Bon" and "Open Letter" sinking their teeth into you from the very first spin.

"Almost every element from our earlier work remains, but this is just a better record," says Ahren Stringer, who holds down the bass and clean vocals for the band. "It is just heavy with huge choruses and huge breakdowns. We are all really stoked on it."
