Black Sabbath may have been at the forefront of heavy metal, but at least one member of the band is not really fond of the classification. Frontman Ozzy Osbourne told CNN (excerpted by Blabbermouth) that he didn't necessarily identify with the label as he feels it's perhaps too broad.

It's not as if Ozzy Osbourne had not reunited with Black Sabbath before, even playing with his original bandmates on his own branded Ozzfest. Sabbath have played six such Ozzfest events dating back to 1997, but yet the band never recorded any new material. Osbourne admits in a new interview that part of the reason for that was his own ego.

Black Sabbath are riding high on the fact that their new album '13,' their first in 35 years, debuted at No. 1 on the Top 200 Billboard chart. This was the band's first time topping the chart, but they are not content to coast. In fact, frontman Ozzy Osbourne hopes the band will patch up its differences with prodigal son drummer Bill Ward, who sat out this album over contractual issues. Rage Again
