Recently, Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon have filled headlines with divorce rumors, but this time, it's Ozzy who's ready to do the talking.

In a Facebook post, Ozzy updated his fans on what's been going on and also addressed his continued struggle with addiction.

"For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs," he wrote. "I was in a very dark place and was an asshole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."

As for recent reports that Ozzy and his wife of 31 years, Sharon, are living separately and on the brink of divorce, Ozzy insists that the pair are still together.

"Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing," he adds. "I'm just trying to be a better person. I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my bandmates for my insane behavior during this period ... and my fans. God bless, Ozzy."

In the past, Ozzy has been open about his 40-year substance abuse addiction that started in the '70s. The rocker went to rehab in 2003.

Ozzy's next step is Black Sabbath's world tour that kicks off April 20 in Auckland, New Zealand.
