Slayer, FLAG, Descendents + More to Play 2013 Fun Fun Fun Fest
The Fun Fun Fun Fest returns in 2013, bringing an eclectic lineup of acts to Austin, Texas for a weekend that's certain to offer something to entertain just about everyone. On the hard rock and metal side, Slayer are the big draw as the group will headline the Black Stage alongside FLAG, the current incarnation of Black Flag with Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Dez Cadena, Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton taking part.
Other hard rock and metal favorites playing the event include the Descendents, Quicksand, Gojira, Body Count, August Burns Red, the Locust, the Cro-Mags, Unlocking the Truth and the Subhumans, who will be playing their 'Cradle to the Grave' disc.
As for other top acts playing the music weekend, Snoop Dogg, MGMT, M.I.A., Cut Copy, Jurassic 5, Simian Mobile Disco, Ice-T, the Walkmen, Television, Deerhunter, Dismemberment Plan, Bonobo, Big K.R.I.T., Lupe Fiasco, Johnny Marr, Polyphonic Spree, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Big Freedia, Sparks and many more will perform.
This year's Fun Fun Fun Fest takes place Nov. 8-10 at Austin's Auditorium Shores. Expect more music and comedy acts to be named by Aug. 3, when the full lineup will be revealed.
