Jackyl frontman Jesse James Dupree has kept his profile up in recent years taking part in Tru-TV's 'Full Throttle Saloon' television show and this year the brand will expand by launching the ThrottleFest in Kansas City. The music weekend will run Aug. 22-24, with Jackyl headlining the Aug. 23 date and Shinedown closing out the festival the following night (Aug. 24).

The event takes place at the Berkley Riverfront Park in Kansas City, with a special kickoff bash Aug. 22 in which Worth Harley-Davidson will be giving away a bike and Pop Evil will perform for those in attendance. The following night Jackyl welcomes support acts Theory of a Deadman, Ugly Kid Joe and Aranda to the festivities. As for the Aug. 24 finale, Shinedown will headline with support from Papa Roach and In This Moment. Additional acts are expected to be named in the coming weeks.

In addition to the music, the entire case of the 'Full Throttle Saloon' television show will be on hand, including Michael Ballard, his wife Angie and her Rock Star Dancers. The event will also feature many of the attractions from the Full Throttle Saloon's Sturgis location, including the Wall of Death, the Burn Out Pit, the mechanical bull, Pro Blitz Wrestling and other forms of entertainment.

The pre-sale for the Kansas City-based ThrottleFest begins July 10 at 10AM local time and runs through July 11 at midnight. Tickets will be available through AXS.com and a variety of ticketing packages that include camping will be open for those attending. For further ticketing details, visit the Throttlefest website.
