Yeah, it's still 2018, but New Wave of British Heavy Metal icons Satan remain entrenched in the early '80s, right where they started. Cruel Magic marks the latest endeavor from the group (their third studio album since reforming in 2011) and they're leading it off with "The Doomsday Clock" which can be heard above.

The production on the track is firmly old school, taking a raw approach to the recording with an organic drum feel and scratchy guitars, foregoing the ultra-slick, polished productions typical of today's era. "The Doomsday Clock" could easily fit in on Satan's acclaimed Court in the Act 1983 debut and singer Brian Ross has fended off any signs of age or wear and tear on his voice.

"Not everyone believes in magic but you all better believe in Cruel Magic," states the band. "This album is going to change everything and we are ready for it. Satan is calling you!"

Cruel Magic will be out Sept. 7 on Metal Blade Records and pre-orders are available here. Satan will return to the U.S. for a small headlining run in October. See all tour dates, as well as the album artwork and track listing, below.
