Saliva just revealed that their new frontman will be former Burn Season drummer Bobby Amaru.

This is huge news since most of us didn't even know the group had parted ways with founding vocalist Josey Scott. In an interview with Texas radio station KFMX, Saliva guitarist Wayne Swinny said that Scott had left the radio-rockers earlier this year so he could pursue a career as a solo Christian artist.

Besides having played drums in Jacksonville, Fla. melodic rock act Burn Season, Amaru has also fronted his own solo group. The new version of Saliva has already recorded three new songs and are currently looking for a new deal after splitting with longtime label Island Records.

Saliva was founded in Memphis, Tenn. in 1996 and has released seven studio albums. They've found huge radio success with singles like 'Always' and 'Click Click Boom.'
