Ronnie James Dio 30th Anniversary ‘Holy Diver’ Guitar to Be Issued by ASG

The 30th anniversary of Dio's 'Holy Diver' album just passed, but the celebration of the iconic metal classic is not over yet. Artist Series Guitar has revealed that they will offer a limited edition Dio 'Holy Diver' guitar next month.

And when they say "limited," they mean limited, as only 30 of the guitars are being created to mark the anniversary. So you'll not only have to be willing to fork out the cash, but you'll also have to be prompt at placing your order at the start of the pre-sale. Speaking of which, ASG will begin pre-sales for the guitar on July 10, which also marks what would have been Dio's 70th birthday.

Photos of the guitar in question can be seen below. They are finished with Dio's exclusive artwork from the album and built with a solid mahogany body. The guitar comes with a rosewood fingerboard with a Top Mother of Pearl trapezoid inlay. There's a cream binding on the body, neck and headstock with jumbo chrome frets and custom engraved ASG arsenal, dual-coil humbuckers. The guitar comes with Kluson-style tuners, a Gravedigger headstock and speed knobs.
