Famed Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora is headed to TV... at least for a short amount of time.

Sambora will be Craig Ferguson's house band on The Late Late Show the week of Dec. 3. Sambora was a guest on the show earlier this month and Ferguson floated the idea, saying that Sambora should do music for the show, perhaps playing a tiny harp... while naked. Sambora said he'd be happy to be Ferguson's house band for the week, but he'd be clothed while performing... and he'll be playing a guitar, too.

This will be the first time The Late Late Show has ever had a regular house band.

Sambora will perform songs from his recently released third solo album, Aftermath of the Lowdown, plus Bon Jovi tunes.

The Late Late Show airs weeknights on CBS. Check your local listing for broadcast times.
