Former Pantera and current Kill Devil Hill bassist Rex Brown continues to hammer out some of best low-end around and now he's doing that with the help of Hartke amplifiers. Brown recently announced that he is accepting an endorsement deal from Hartke and will be making his debut as a member of the Hartke team during an event in New York City next month.

The event is taking place at the Sam Ash music store in New York City, located on West 34th St. According to a press release from Hartke, the event will feature the legendary bassist playing some of his favorite bass riffs from his long music career. He will also discuss some of his bass-playing techniques with the fans there. The event, taking place on Sept. 19 at 7PM, is free to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.

"I've been playing bass for a long time and I recently had the great fortune of pluggin’ in to a Hartke rig. My new rig gives me the flexibility to control my tone and blast my sound in any size venue. This Hartke rig slams like a concrete sledge,” said Brown. “I’m looking forward to being part of the Hartke family for ANOTHER very long time.”

Rex’s band, Kill Devil Hill, is set to release their second album this fall. It will be the first album released by their new record label, Century Media Records. Brown is also slated to take part in Hartke’s Bass Player Live! 2013 event along with a host of other legendary bass players, where they will be honoring Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler.
