Octaves

Don't let the title fool you. Sure it's the Old Testament way God says 'hello' to Moses, but there is no religious proselytization here. Baltimore's Octaves are a little over a year old, but in this short time the hardcore outfit has been making their mark with contemptuous songs bearing the great flag of extermination with melody. And that's why Noisecreep is proud to premiere the track from the band's debut, 'Greener Pastures.'

Listen to 'I Am He Who Is Called I Am'

"Four horsemen decked in thee piece suites/Where's your lord and savior now!?/He's skippin' out on the bill," vocalist Phil Fosler belts out through his bearded rasp, as a melodious hook comes in. Though the Biblical imagery stays throughout the song, this is the soundtrack to a disdained warning.
