Maylene and the Sons of Disaster have embarked on their U.S. tour with All That Remains and Lacuna Coil, sans vocalist Dallas Taylor -- but with He Is Legend frontman Schuylar Dane taking the role of lead singer. While fans are left speculating over what's happening with Maylene -- whose only original members left are Taylor and bassist Roman Haviland – the future of He is Legend is also in question.

Though no rumors have been confirmed or dispelled from either camp, Dallas Taylor has issued an amiable statement to his fans via Maylene's MySpace page, saying:

"Hey everybody this is Dallas. I just wanted to let everyone know I unfortunately will not be on the upcoming All That Remains tour. I am very excited to get back out on the road soon, however now is not the right time. We are very excited to announce our good friend Schulyar Dane, from the great band He Is Legend will be filling in on vocals. Please come out and support the guys, it's going to be a great tour, and I hope to see you all on the road soon. Thanks for all the support."

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster are also scheduled to play the upcoming Taste of Chaos European tour with In Flames, Killswitch Engage, and Every Time I Die. It is unclear whether or not Taylor will return for that run with Maylene at press time.
