Ever since the title 'Trent Reznor in Conversation With…' appeared as the title of a bonus cut for the new Nine Inch Nails 'Hesitation Marks' album, there's been plenty of speculation about who might be chatting up the rocker. It's now been revealed via the NIN Hotline posted track that Trent Reznor is in conversation with none other than himself.

As Reznor states at the beginning of the 45-minute track, "So the intention here was to have a conversation. We were going to choose and interesting person to ask interesting questions and I would respond with interesting answers and we would have an interesting piece of audio to listen to." But Reznor says that over time the less interesting that idea became so instead he just let the recorder roll and decided to speak in detail about the band's new album.

So that being said, if you are into the minutiae of what goes into the making of the Nine Inch Nails' 'Hesitation Marks,' then this conversation is definitely for you. And even if you're not, we still suggest moving about 11 minutes into the audio where you can hear a demo of one of Reznor's favorite tracks that didn't make the record because it was never finished. The haunting cut clocks in at just under seven minutes and is the first of several bonus musical snippets that turn up during the conversation.

The frontman is definitely in a giving mood these days. In addition to this detailed 'In Conversation With' track, the Nine Inch Nails mastermind just launched the 'Tour Exposed' documentary series, which takes a more in-depth look at what's going into the stage production of their recent dates and upcoming 'Tension' tour.
