We're inching closer to the first new Life of Agony album since 2005's Broken Valley with A Place Where There's No More Pain set to arrive in less than a month. Anticipation is high and fans can whet their appetite with the second album single, "World Gone Mad" in the player below.

It's a speedy cut that clocks in at just over three minutes, opening with a chunky, bobbing groove. After a brief pause, the frenetic riff continues as Mina Caputo enters the fold, accenting the rhythm with her darting delivery. A bright, melodic lead sends the song upward during the chorus, complete with a sing-song refrain that will imprint itself on your musical psyche for days.

"The message behind 'World Gone Mad' could not be more relevant to what's going on all over this planet right now. People are more divided than ever and if we continue to ignore the fact that this world is busting at its seams and just continue to 'stick our heads underground' like the lyrics suggest, we will see a madness in our lifetime like we've never experienced before," commented bassist Alan Robert.

A Place Where There's No More Pain will be out on April 28 through Napalm Records and pre-orders can be placed at the label's webstore where fans can explore a variety of bundle options in addition to the standalone standard release formats. For a list of upcoming tour dates, click here.
