Judas Priest Will Open Ozzy Osbourne’s Rescheduled 2020 Tour
Ozzy Osbourne has had a bit of a rough 2019 so far and had to cancel all of his tour dates. Judas Priest were opening on the European leg of the "No More Tours 2" tour, which was the first to be canceled. However, Priest have confirmed that they will be opening on the rescheduled European tour in 2020.
"We all wish Ozzy a really speedy recovery and hope he's back to 100% health very soon," the band said on twitter.
The news of the tour postponement originally came in January when Osbourne contracted the flu. Shortly after, he had developed bronchitis and then pneumonia, which can potentially be fatal for someone his age. After being hospitalized for several weeks, as recommended by doctors, he was breathing through respirators and eventually sent home.
We received several updates from Sharon and Jack Osbourne via their social media afterward, confirming that he was doing much better and even complaining, which according to Sharon was a good thing. As of last week, news broke that Osbourne had fallen in his home during his recovery, aggravating old injuries from his ATV accident in 2003. All 2019 tour dates were postponed and he will pick back up in 2020 when he's healed and feeling better.
