Judas Priest

The Metal God Rob Halford -- check out his recent visit to the Noisecreep compound for a ''Creep Show' episode -- has announced an intimate Halford concert that will take place at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on July 17. This will be the first time that Halford and his band have performed in over seven years, and this rare event will find Halford and company performing soon-to-be-released tracks from Halford, as well as Fight and Judas Priest. It will truly be a night of all Halford and that is always a good thing.

"It's 2010, and I am excited to say the Halford band are heading back to the Bay Area this July," the Metal God himself said in an official statement. "We are preparing the Halford set lists, crew, etc. for this year's Montreal Heavy Metal Festival, Ozzfest and many soon-to-be-announced dates. The Regency Ballroom will be a great venue to enjoy the band work up close. Get ready, my Bay Area Metal Maniacs! I'm bringing a night of blistering Heavy Metal to town."

Oh, Rob! We'd expect nothing less from you. You're the Metal God and a ''Creep Show' regular, and anything you do is worthy of two horns up!

Halford's new CDs and DVD will arrive in time for this year's concert tour. 'Halford Live in Anaheim' is 23-songs strong, spread over two discs of soaring vocal drama. It will be released June 22, while 'Halford Crucible Remixed and Remastered,' a 16-song 2002 studio release complete with new mixes and four bonus tracks, hits retail establishments on July 13. So mark your calendars.
