Going all the way back to 1982, Great White have been dealing out some of the best blues-based hard rock around. While they've been lumped in with the so-called "hair bands" of the '80s, the group truthfully has more in common with Led Zeppelin, Humble Pie and ZZ Top, than the poppier acts that were part of the Sunset Strip scene.

After years with Jack Russell behind the mic, Great White is now fronted by Terry Ilous, also of XYZ. From the sound of their 2012 album, Elation, the current lineup is firing on all cylinders.

"You know when Jack couldn't come back (from being on sabbatical due to illness); Terry had already been in the band like for a year and a half," founding Great White guitarist Mark Kendall told Noisecreep over the summer. "He had done over 80 shows (with Great White), and we were in love with the guy. So it was never even talked about auditioning. Terry was always our choice. He fit with our music so well, and he is such a joy to be around. I cannot believe this guy, he is really a good person."

In this Noisecreep exclusive, we're bringing you the video premiere for "Hard to Say Goodbye," a soulful ballad off Elation.
