Grammy Museum to Unveil Heavy Metal History Exhibition This April

Not enough rock in the Grammys for you? On April 11, 2012, the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE will debut their new exhibit "Golden Gods: The History of Heavy Metal." The show, a collaboration with Revolver Magazine, will open in time to coincide with Revolver's The Golden Gods of Metal awards show.

What can we expect? "Rare artifacts from iconic metal bands" like instruments, stage props, handwritten lyrics, costumes and "interactive experiences" like "Metal riff stations," a vocal "scream" booth and a double kick drum that teaches visitors Heavy Metal drumming. The motive? To educate visitors on the origins of Heavy Metal, the mega bands, the subgenres and the controversies form over four decades of Metal. Fun for all!
