For proof, check out the aptly named Tumblr Goths Up Trees, which features photos of sullen misfits clinging to branches, perhaps doing their best to escape the unbearable sadness of life here on the ground.

The site comes on the heels -- nine-inch spikes, naturally -- of Goths in Hot Weather, a popular Tumblr packed with photos of goths coping with high temps.

With Goths Up Trees, the photos seem to be exclusively submitted by users, so the site lacks the fish-out-of-water hilarity that often characterizes its predecessor. Still, there's something funny about watching pale folks in dog collars partake in an outdoor activity generally left to carefree children.
