It all started with 1977's self-titled debut, followed by 1979's 'Overkill' and 'Bomber' with each charting increasingly higher on the U.K. album charts. 1980's 'Ace of Spades' gave the band their first charting success in the U.S. and got all the way up to No. 4 in the U.K. From there, the band became an established name. The '80s also included the 'Iron Fist,' 'Another Perfect Day,' 'Orgasmatron' and 'Rock 'n' Roll' albums.
As the '90s hit, it was more of a mixed bag for Motorhead with such albums as '1916' and 'March or Die' doing fairly well, while ''Bastards,' 'Sacrifice,' 'Overnight Sensation' and 'Snake Bite Love' fell off a little bit.
The 2000s offered a resurgence for Motorhead, beginning with their 2000 album, 'We Are Motorhead.' 'Hammered,' 'Inferno,' 'Kiss of Death' and 'Motorizer' followed and as the '10s hit 'The World Is Yours' and 'Aftershock' enjoyed success.
With that many albums, there's a lot of great music to choose from. Which Motorhead album is your favorite? Vote in the Readers Poll below:
