Favorite KISS Song – Readers Poll
KISS will finally enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after years of fan outcry and a career filled with hit songs, rocking albums and stellar live performances. As we reflect on the band's career, we want to know which of KISS' songs is your favorite.
The band started in 1974, with 'Strutter' being one of the standouts from their self-titled debut disc. The '70s also bought us a string of hits that included 'Rock and Roll All Nite,' 'Shout It Out Loud,' 'Detroit Rock City,' 'Beth,' 'Hard Luck Woman,' 'Calling Dr. Love,' ''Christine Sixteen,' 'Love Gun' and 'I Was Made for Lovin' You' among others.
As the band hit the '80s, there were lineup changes and some peaks and valleys in terms of their career. Still, tracks like 'I Love It Loud,' 'Lick It Up,' 'Heaven's on Fire,' 'Tears Are Falling,' 'Crazy Crazy Nights,' 'Reason to Live,' and 'Hide Your Heart' populated the airwaves.
In the '90s, the original lineup eventually reunited. Hits from the decade included 'Forever,' 'God Gave Rock and Roll to You II,' 'Domino,' 'Jungle,' 'Psycho Circus' and 'You Wanted the Best.' For the 2000s, KISS once again split with Peter Criss and Ace Frehley and primarily became a touring group until the end of the decade when Paul Stanley stepped up to produce a new album with their current lineup. Two albums later and Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer have emerged a renewed band with such vital cuts as 'Modern Day Delilah,' 'Hell or Hallelujah' and 'Long Way Down.'
That's a wealth of songs that KISS have yielded over the years that helped pave their path to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now it's your turn to tell us which of these tracks is your favorite. Vote in the Readers Poll below:
