About the band:

Defiler formed in 2010 and self-released their debut album, Pangaea, which was eventually reissued by Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta on his Stillborn Records label in 2011. Now signed to Razor & Tie, Defiler, who call their type of musical attack "lifecore," will be releasing Nematocera, their sophomore album, on Oct. 9. The band self-produced the record and had the one and only Zeuss mix it (Suicide Silence, Municipal Waste). Defiler will tour this fall on the Hatewear Tour with Straight Line Stitch and Dead By Wednesday (tour dates below).
