"We want to dedicate this video to my good friend Ryan Dunn, who just died. It's been a tough couple of weeks for everyone here," says an obviously still shocked Jess Margera. The CKY drummer is on the phone with Noisecreep talking about the band's 'Afterworld' video when he brings up his late friend. 'Jackass' star Dunn died on June 20th when his Porsche veered off a road and crashed into a tree in West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pa.

"When our management office told us that we were going to release the video for 'Afterworld,' Chad [I Ginsburg, guitars] and I thought it was fitting since the song was originally on the soundtrack to the 'Jackass 3D' movie and the subject of the lyrics. There's lines in the song about not saying goodbye and all of that kind of stuff, so it just made us want to dedicate it to Ryan," says Margera. Noisecreep is honored to bring you the world premiere of CKY's 'Afterworld' video.

The song is also available on CKY's recent 'B-Sides & Rarities' compilation. In a touching yet painful memory, Dunn text messaged Ginsburg about the video clip shortly before he passed away. "In the last text that Ryan ever sent Chad, he told him how much he loved 'Afterworld' and that it was his favorite CKY video."

Margera knew Dunn since they were in high school and recalls his crazy driving habits. "When I was 16-years old, he flipped a car we were in 10 times [laughs]. He crashed at least 10 cars in his life. That's just how Ryan was. He was into racing and all of that stuff and when you do that, you crash cars. The successful that he became, the faster the cars got. He would soup up these cars that were already fast to begin with.

"My brother [Bam Margera, of Jackass fame] warned him, "Your engine could pull an oil rig to shore, but you have it in a car that weighs 1,500 lbs. You're going to lose control." It's crazy," Everyone knew he drove like an a--hole, but no one ever expected him to die like that. It's a tough time for us."

CKY's 'B-Sides & Rarities' is available now via Distant/Mighty Loud.
