Binary Code Tour Dates With the Gloominous Doom

The Binary Code have announced a string of dates for a spring tour, fresh off recording a new three-song EP. These new sonic wares will be getting the new song treatment with these shows. One song, 'Ocean of Light,' is a step away from the fast tech wizardry the New Jersey band is known for. "It wasn't so much weird as it was awesome to play such a different tempo," guitarist Jesper Zuretti told Noisecreep, adding that we should expect more songs like this in the future.
The tour will be a small little stroll now that the foursome have put major miles behind them on the Metal as Art tour that hit 31 cities in 33 days back in January -- and sadly included a van accident that almost ended the tour on day two. "The last tour made it much easier to take those long drives you dread taking when you're home from the road," Zuretti explained. "A three-hour drive is like a quick trip to the store now. This coming tour being so quick seems like a weekend, for sure. It'll blow by too fast and leave us wanting more, which is a good thing."
The tour also features balls-to-the-walls heaviness from the likes of Lair of the Minotaur, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, Total F---- Destruction and the Gloominous Doom. Zuretti couldn't be more excited about sharing the stage with these bands, as well as the bands he's never heard of. "You'd be surprised how partial you become after you see a band play night after night. Every night of tour with Revocation and Hypno5e, we'd be in the room watching. We're stoked to hear all of the bands that are playing on the bill with us in their local nativity. Local bands are a new hobby to us -- it's really cool finding the diamonds in the roughs!"
