It's nine weeks at No. 1 and counting for Stryper's 'Sympathy' video on the Noisecreep Battle Royale Video Countdown, but the competition is closing in. The clip won by its narrowest margin yet, as Korn's Spike in My Veins' leapfrogged Tom Keifer's 'Solid Ground' in a neck-and-neck race for second. The positioning for all three clips went right down to the end of voting on Friday morning.

Elsewhere on the countdown, there were two big debuts this week. Dead by April's 'As a Butterfly' enters at the No. 4 position on the countdown, and actually was in the hunt for the top spot early in the week before falling back. One slot back at No. 5 is Arch Enemy's 'War Eternal,' the band's first music video featuring new frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz.

Who will shake up the Battle Royale Video Countdown next week? We say goodbye to Five Finger Death Punch's 'Battle Born' and For Today's 'Fight the Silence' in order to make way for each band's new videos. The cinematic Five Finger Death Punch video for 'House of the Rising Sun' and For Today's 'Break the Cycle' guest starting Memphis May Fire's Matty Mullins enter the voting, as does Memphis May Fire's own clip for 'No Ordinary Love' and Gojira's intriguing animated promo for 'Born in Winter.'

Videos for every song that can be voted on may be seen by clicking on the title in the Battle Royale poll at the upper right of this page (or at the bottom of the post for those voting on mobile devices). You can vote up to once per hour until the next Battle Royale deadline on Friday, April 4 at 11AM ET. Make your votes count!
