And the riffing has commenced! Bullet for My Valentine frontman and guitarist Matt Tuck is turning his attentions back to his other project AxeWound. The metal supergroup, featuring members of Cancer Bats and Glamour of the Kill, has started work on its sophomore set. Two of the members took to Twitter to announce the news.

Tuck posted the good news and you can feel his excitement encased in this 140-characters-or-less digital transmission.

His bandmate Mike Kingswood of Glamour of the Kill also tweeted his own update.

Bullet for My Valentine dropped 'Temper Temper' earlier this year, and Tuck recently commented that the band would be going in a heavier direction on that album's follow up. Well, he can certainly sharpen his chops and get inspired while doing an AxeWound album, since it's a different, more extreme project for him.

AxeWound released their debut 'Vultures' via The End Records last October. So they are wasting no time in getting another platter into our heads and to our ears. The band also features frontman Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats, bassist Joe Copcutt and Jason Bowld, formerly of Pitchshifter, on drums.
