The fall is in full effect. The leaves are turning and the new release schedule is filling up in anticipation of the upcoming holiday shopping. The month of October offers a number of big name releases with some standout offerings for both metal and rock fans. But with all the new music, we want to know which disc is the one you most want to pick up.

On Oct. 7, Sixx: A.M.'s 'Modern Vintage,' Texas Hippie Coalition's 'Ride On' and New Found Glory's 'Resurrection' headline the new releases, with a Paul Di'Anno DVD, a Hellion EP and albums from Minus the Bear, Orange Goblin and Rigor Mortis on the schedule. On Oct. 14, there's the Ozzy Osbourne solo collection, 'Memoirs of a Madman,' Exodus' 'Blood In, Blood Out,' The Melvins' 'Hold It In' and The Acacia Strain's 'Coma Witch' leading the way. New albums from Fit for a King, KMFDM, Pig Destroyer, Revocation, Sanctuary, Scar Symmetry, Starkill and Swallowed rounding out the week.

The week of Oct. 21 finds Slipknot's '.5: The Gray Chapter' grabbing the headlines, while Bush ('Man on the Run'), Billy Idol ('Kings & Queens of the Underground') and Primus ('Primus & The Chocolate Factory With the Fungi Ensemble') among the week's top offerings. You'll also find a Deep Purple DVD and new albums from Amaranthe, Indestructible Noise Command and Pitch Black Forecast on the schedule. And finally, Oct. 28 brings us the self-titled Black Veil Brides album, Unearth's 'Watchers of Rule,' Crobot's 'Something Supernatural,' Live's return with 'The Turn' and Devin Townsend's 'Z2: Dark Matters.' You can also look for albums from Abysmal Dawn, At the Gates, Necrophagia, Obituary, Sister Sin and Pianos Become the Teeth.

That's a lot of great music. Now it's your turn to tell us which of these offerings you most want to pick up. Vote in the poll below and the victor will be featured in post that will live on the Noisecreep website declaring it as the Release of the Month throughout the month of October.
