How does a merch-less band promote themselves at a show when they are several states away from home? Washington D.C. grinders Three Faces of Eve got pretty creative just before their several-hour trek to the east village basement on Monday, Aug 3.

"We don't have any CDs. But, I have a piece of paper. I can write down our website. And you can download our CD for free the day after tomorrow," vocalist Tony DeRosa said while smiling. After playing a skin-melting set (not just because the Lit Lounge doubles as a sauna), he handed out copies of the album artwork to a three-track EP which can be downloaded for free.
