So, yesterday, we posted a story about producer Jason Suecof, and some of the parodies he's created over the years, mocking some of metal's biggest names. Well, Bretgate isn't over yet. That much-promised statement from Bret Michaels, concerning his recent appearance at last Sunday's Tony Awards, during which a descending stage prop essentially kicked Bret's butt, has finally been released, and it's a winner...

Bretgate 2009 rages on. You'd think getting smacked in the face with a stage prop and dropped like a bad habit was the worst thing that's ever happened to Bret Michaels (after Taya Parker, of course), but let's face it: Bret hasn't had this much press since the late 80s...

So, a stage prop breaks your nose and knocks you on your a-- on national television. What do you do? Try to glean as much press from the incident as you can, while people still care. That seems to be Poison frontman Bret Michaels' agenda this week...

We're not even sure where to start this gloriously rainy morning. On Sunday, this year's Tony Awards aired on television. Normally, Noisecreep wouldn't have tuned in for such an event, but had to, just because glam-rock rebels Poison were scheduled to take the stage for a performance of "Nothin' But a Good Time...

They say the news is always happening, but this weekend, the metal news took something of a respite. Seriously. It was a rather slow two days, probably because everyone was outside and far from their computers. Here in New York City, at least, we had two solid straight days of sunshine...

Another week is in the books, people, and the summer's just getting started (although it feels like Seattle in December here in New York City lately; what gives, Ma Nature?) This month, some of the summer's biggest tours will be kicking off, and we're psyched about that...
