Trent Reznor is a music mastermind who loves having control over the creative process. Geniuses such as Prince and Brian Wilson share the same trait, but in a recent interview with KROQ morning hosts Kevin & Bean, the Nine Inch Nails leader talked about being more open to the spirit of collaboration.

Trent Reznor laid a big surprise on the music industry when he announced a new Nine Inch Nails album was in the works. 'Hesitation Marks' is coming out on Sept. 3, and to promote its release Reznor had an in-depth sit down with KROQ Los Angeles' morning hosts Kevin & Bean in which he delved into the different musical direction for the upcoming disc.

You can just feel the anticipation, and no we're not confusing that with Trent Reznor's ability to build the tension within a song. Nine Inch Nails' 'Hesitation Marks' album is due Sept. 3 and a few more crucial details about the disc have now surfaced. The group has revealed the track listing as well as the credits showing who performed on the album.

The revolving door of Nine Inch Nails continues. The band, who just last month saw the exit of bassist Eric Avery, is now saying farewell to guitarist Adrian Belew as well.

Nine Inch Nails really are back and in multiple ways. Trent Reznor has fully resurrected the band, with a new single ('Come Back Haunted'), a new album ('Hesitation Marks,' out Sept. 3) and now a new tour (the 'Tension' trek), launching on Sept. 28. So there's a whole lot of NIN going on in the next few months, to the delight of fans, of course.

Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor announced earlier this year that he was resurrecting the band with a new lineup for a 2013 tour, but all indications were that fans would not see a new NIN album this year. However, Reznor revealed yesterday (May 28) that Nine Inch Nails have been secretly working on a new disc that will indeed come out in 2013 via Columbia Records.

Just a couple days after Eric Avery backed out of Nine Inch Nails, the industrial rockers have recruited former member Robin Finck to rejoin the group. NIN mastermind Trent Reznor revealed the news in a tweet to his fans.
