As 2013 winds down, more acts are hopping off the road and putting the focus on their next studio albums. Some may arrive by 2014, while others are expected later. But there's no doubt there's a lot of great music from some of rock's biggest acts on the horizon. With this Readers Poll, we want to know which act's next album you're most anticipating.

Metallica are finally transitioning to creating a new album, though there's doubt it will arrive in 2014. Their "Big 4" brethren Slayer and Anthrax are also both in "new album" mode as well. And while Judas Priest may be scaling down their touring, they still plan to record new music. Recent comments suggest that a 2014 album is a possibility.

Both Slipknot and Suicide Silence have big shoes to fill, as each band suffered a death in their ranks since their previous records. As they both return to the studio, many fans want to see how they'll continue. Lamb of God have also undergone a pretty life-altering event since their last album as well. Years have passed since we've had new studio records from Tool and Motley Crue, but both bands are back at work on new music. And Mastodon and Foo Fighters are plotting new discs as well.
