The long-rumored adaptation of Motley Crue's 'The Dirt' book into a film became more of a reality last week with the announcement that Jeff Tremaine, who is best known for his work with the 'Jackass' franchise, has signed on to direct the upcoming movie. With the Motley Crue movie now becoming a reality, our Readers Poll asks if you will turn out to see 'The Dirt' when it hits the big screen.

The film is being timed to coincide with the band's farewell tour and should be part of the Motley mania that will no doubt reach a fevered pitch during the band's final run. As for the book, it was initially published in 2001 and was filled with plenty of the band's debauched hedonism from their decadent rise to fame. The first hardback edition was on the New York Times Bestseller List for four weeks.

Talk of a film version of the book has been rumored for several years and became a hot topic again when the band began discussing their farewell tour and putting the movie on the fast track to coincide with their trek. With the news of Tremaine's attachment to the movie, the band has secured a director who is responsible for several box office-toping movies.

So you tell us -- with the band's colorful history and movement on the film project, will you be seeing 'The Dirt' when it arrives in theaters? Vote in our Readers Poll below.
