The dudes in Come Alive don't give a care.

The California-based duo recently released "We Don't Even Like You," a new track that has been throwing some of their old fans for a loop.

Where Come Alive's older material blended a blend of harsh and melodic vocals, "We Don't Even Like You" only features the latter. The song was released on iTunes a few weeks back.

"Going into the release of "We Don't Even Like You" we knew there were going to be a lot of people who weren't going to like it... and were probably even going to hate the song," Come Alive's Ben Ezaki tells Noisecreep about the new track. "I mean, that's kinda how this whole song came about; we had heard through the grapevine that some fellow musicians of ours had heard our new music and had just been slandering our name ever since... Saying we 'sold out' and how we would never 'make it.' I'm not going to lie, it got under my skin for a minute.

"Then, like a flip of a switch, I thought to myself, 'We don't even like you.' It sounds cruel, but it was 100% true. These people were not our friends. I didn't trust or value their opinion of our music. I don't even really like them. So why should I care what they think? They can eat my grapes. And just like that, this song was born. It's funny, because, just like we predicted in the song, these people have all congratulated us since the release and told us how much they like the song... People are funny... GOLD GANG."
