"Lot Lizard" is (from Urbandictionary.com): "A trucker's term for a prostitute that works truck stops."

If that didn't get your attention, then the video and song below will. "Lot Lizard" is the first track ever written by Come Alive, a Fresno, Calif. band that Noisecreep readers might remember under their original name, Lightfighter. While they are still unsigned, it shouldn't be long before a savvy label picks up on the group's blend of circle pit-ready riffs and hypermelodic choruses.

A song written as a sort of cautionary tale to would be rock groupies, Noisecreep is thrilled to present the exclusive premiere of Come Alive's "Lot Lizard" video.

Check out the video below and then read the detailed explanation of the song Come Alive bassist Ben Ezaki sent to Noisecreep.

From Come Alive bassist Ben Ezaki:

"The reason I love this song is because its lyrics are so close to home for me. Growing up going to shows, I would see these girls who seemed to be 'friends' with every big band that came through, and you almost began to put them on a pedestal with the band itself. We all know the type. Back in the day they would have a cool 'MySpace name' with the little TM sign next to it (i.e. Christa Chaos, Vicky Vanity) [laughs]. You'd see these girls tweeting back and forth to your favorite bands and you were jealous of the in and connection they had. Fast forward a couple years and I have now realized that those girls are nothing but whores. Sorry, you were all thinking it, I just have the balls to say it.

All those 'Tumblr famous' girls, or those random girls you see with a million followers tweeting back and forth with your favorite artists. They build synthetic friendships and fabricated fame by merely putting out. It's truly a sad sight to see. Are backstage passes to some concert and the ability to name drop really worth giving up all dignity? It's not like these 'friends' they make along the way actually care about them either- they merely use these girls for sex, then it's on to the next.

Also, as a firm believer in love, I wanted to add a second dimension to this song, adding a somewhat positive spin on it. We wanted good girls out there to know the truth about these 'lot lizards' to help prevent them from ever falling into such a rut. Lust is not the way to love ladies. It never will be. I really cannot stress that enough. It sucks, because these good girls who want to get into the music industry will see these lot lizards and think that their way is the way to succeed in the music industry- IT'S NOT. Trust me, everyone will appreciate you much more if you keep your clothes on. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not think that these 'lot lizards' are 'famous' or above you. They may have their 15 seconds of fame, but you have your DIGNITY, as well as our RESPECT.

Being promiscuous is never the answer. And simply putting out is never the way to a man's heart. Honestly, that's just a way to ensure that you'll never find love. So, hold close your dignity and set your sights on love- soon enough both their lust and fame will wilt away leaving them broken. I promise you, your forever love is out there, and it will be well worth the wait. Just know that you deserve the best. 'Love will always win'."
