Metallica was slated to play their first ever concert in Gurgaon, India this Friday, October 28. However, the concert has been postponed until tomorrow evening due to technical difficulties and much to the chagrin of local Metallica fans, Blabbermouth reports. Disappointed concert goers rushed the barricades at the venue causing them to collapse. About 20,000 people from across the country showed up to see the band play.

According to RollingStoneIndia.com the situation began to spiral out of control as a stampede gathered force around 3:30 in the afternoon. The stampede caused the eventual downfall of the barricades and injured several fans. At approximately 6 p.m. the concert organizers announced that due to 'serious technical difficulties,' the show would be postponed until 4 p.m. the following day.

Several fans gained access to the stage, setting fires, and damaging equipment in the process. After the destruction wrought by fans, they decided to cancel the show for good. Let's hope that not too many of these fans have heard 'Lulu,' otherwise things are only going to get worse. Watch some news footage below.
