Warrant drummer Steven Sweet has had neck surgery. More specifically, he had a Cervical Spinal Fusion operation. The kit minder went under the knife on Monday, Nov. 19, and is now at home recovering before the big Thanksgiving holiday.

Fans of the "Cherry Pie" rockers were informed of Sweet's situation via a Facebook post.

The reveal post read as follows:

Our Warrant brother Steven Sweet is having neck surgery... We ask for good thoughts for him as he heals and will not live or rock out in pain. He will be healing for a while and then bring his master drum sounds to the stage to be better than ever. Feel better Steven!!!

A second post was issued, post-surgery, on Tuesday, Nov. 20, revealing that all is good in the medical hood for Sweet.

Update! Steven is at home and on the mend! His wife will take great care of him as he heals! Great news!"

Sweet posted a note of gratitude to fans for all of their well wishes, writing:

Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers and support... I'm actually home (and in record time) after my Cervical Spinal Fusion operation, which puts me one step closer to becoming the 6 Hundred Dollar Man!!!

Noisecreep sends our best to Sweet for a speedy and full recovery. We're sure he'll be back pounding skins in Warrant in no time.
