Germany's Vulture play thrash the way olde gods taught them — with menacing speed and visceral intent. Their second album, Ghastly Waves & Battered Graves, is out June 7 and they've drawn first blood with the "Beyond the Blade" video below.

"Beyond the Blade" is a frantic dose of serrated thrash so fast that singer L. Steeler's shrieks and howls almost have a Doppler effect as the riffs race by.

Now, before you hit play, don your finest denim, leather and spikes — you'll need 'em.

"We're more than happy to have been able to work with the talented Robert Piel. He managed to completely exceed our vision of creating a small suspense-thriller as a music video. This is not just a random band footage clip. This is big cinema," affirms Vulture.

"Overall, the album sounds very aggressive and cold, and our producer Marco once again managed to catch exactly what we wanted and mapped out a great mix that fits our music perfectly. There's a lot of room for all those small accents and hints, but it also sounds very direct, in-your-face-like, if you will," says S. Genözider.
