Taylor Momsen + Mark Tremonti Guest and A.J. Pero Tribute on ‘That Metal Show’
This week's That Metal Show on VH1 Classic features guest appearances from The Pretty Reckless' Taylor Momsen and Alter Bridge / Creed's Mark Tremonti. In addition, there's a special tribute to Twisted Sister / Adrenaline Mob drummer A.J. Pero, who recently passed away.
Instead of the show's usual "TMS Top 5" and "Take It or Leave It" segments, the episode opens with Pero's Twisted Sister bandmates Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda and Mark Mendoza sharing memories and stories about Pero and talking about the future of Twisted Sister in the wake of Pero's passing. This week's guest musician is Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon, who plays "Amazing Grace" in memory of Pero.
Momsen makes her TMS debut, chatting with hosts Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine. The Pretty Reckless will be going on tour with Halestorm beginning April 22. Tremonti has been on the show before, and among the topics he talks about on this appearance is his self-titled band's upcoming album Cauterize, which will be released in May. Plus, look forward to an epic "Throwdown" segment in which the panel debate the merits of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
This week's episode of That Metal Show debuts Saturday, March 28 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1 Classic. The episode will repeat at 11PM ET/PT.
