Taking Back Sunday’s Adam Lazzara Arrested for Driving While Impaired

Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara was reportedly arrested over the weekend for driving while impaired (DWI). This occurred right as Taking Back Sunday began a North American tour with letlive and the Menzingers, but Lazzara's arrest doesn't seem like it will halt any upcoming dates.

According to various sources, Adam Lazzara, 33, was pulled over after running a red light near Charlotte, N.C. Authorities determined that Lazzara was unfit to drive, leading to a DWI arrest. Charlotte-Mugshots lists the date of arrest as Feb. 15 at 12:05AM.

Lazzara is currently out on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 15.

There are currently no details on how Lazzara was "impaired," but the term is usually defined by "alcohol or other legal or illegal substances."

Taking Back Sunday most recently released their sixth studio album, Happiness Is, in 2014. The disc debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and hit No. 1 on the U.S. Indie chart.
