Nashville Pussy bassist Karen Cuda has quit the band. The bass post in the band has always been a bit of a revolving door since Corey Parks left in the '00s.
Below is Cuda's statement on her exit:
"Today feels a bit surreal as I officially announce my resignation from Nashville Pussy...
Nashville Pussy will roar into their hometown of Atlanta on June 27, ripping the roof off The Star Bar for a gig dubbed "Nashville Pussy's First-Ever Summer Rock 'n' Roll Showdown." Sounds dangerous, doesn't it? The show is special because it marks the return of bassist Karen Cuda to the lineup...

-- Eddie Vedder, accepting a Grammy for Pearl Jam's 'Spin the Black Circle,' 1996

With a band named Nashville Pussy and albums titled 'Get Some,' 'Say Something Nasty' and, well, 'Let Them Eat Pussy,' we expected frontman Blaine Cartwright's iPod shuffle list to read like a porno mag. At the very least, we figured there'd be a bunch of sleazy, scummy biker metal on there...
