Noisecreep isn't expecting to be invited, but according to Blabbermouth, Sunset Strip survivors Steel Panther have been hired to perform at Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne's upcoming wedding.

"We play a lot of shows, and we have weekly residencies in L.A. and Hollywood," Steel Panther drummer Stix Zadinia told Audio Ink Radio. "Chad was in L.A. for a while, and he would come to our shows and get up onstage and jam. We got to know him, and at one of the shows, we were like, 'Dude, we should write together!'" Kroeger did the classic, "Yeah, bro!" But for a while, nothing came of the friendly exchange. "We kept saying it enough times that finally, we were like, 'Let's do it.'"

The Nickelback frontman appeared Steel Panther's 2011 song "It Won't Suck Itself."

Former Chimaira guitarist, current Fear Factory bassist and one of our favorite ginger kid Matt DeVries has launched a merch line. It's in the developing stages, but you can check out the first item, a Team MFA shirt, here.

"I've always wanted to launch my own merch line that represents me as an artist," DeVries told Noisecreep. "This is a new creative endeavor for me. It will be exciting to see fans wearing items from my merch line supporting MFA. For this first design, I teamed up with long time friend James Bullock aka Human Furnace from the band Ringworm for the artwork. I think he did an amazing job!"

The Black Dahlia Murder have shared the new track "Into the Everblack," which will appear on their new album Everblack, due out June 11. Indulge in a little face-ripping metal from Michigan!

You can also listen to "Bled Dry," the new Record Store Day track from Boy Sets Fire, via the lyric video. It's vintage BSF, full of vim, vigor and moshy breakdowns that make you want to put a fist through the wall. The band's 7" is out April 20, which is, of course, RSD. The song is one of two on the release, available via Magic Bullet, which will be pressed on 500 clear vinyl and 500 randomly colored vinyl. A digital release is said to be planned, as well. Both "Bled Dry" and the other track on the 7" will not appear on While a Nation Sleeps, the band's new album due out in June.
