These are busy times for Joey Jordison. The drummer recently revealed that his band Vimic would be releasing their debut album before 2017 is out. But that's not the only project Jordison is involved with, and now comes word that we'll also get a Sinsaenum EP before the calendar adds another year.

Sinsaenum will follow their 2016 full-length debut Echoes of the Tortured with the new EP Ashes, which is on schedule for a Nov. 10 street date via earMUSIC. The disc comes with over 30 minutes of hard rocking music, including three brand new songs that are exclusive to the EP. The set is rounded out by two previous tracks that were made exclusive as bonus cuts for fans in Japan, plus a remix for the song "Dead Souls."

"Ashes is showing a more mature version of our music, and also an angrier side," said the band's Frederic Leclercq. "A lot angrier. We wanted the production to be rawer. Nothing is polite here. We just want to grab the listeners by the throat and spit our hatred into their face. With this EP, we took things further. The black metal vibe is more present in the three new songs, as are the synths; they reinforce the eerie side of our music. Experimenting with keys and machine is not something we are afraid of. Musical darkness can come in many ways."

The set, which features cover artwork drawn by Maxime Taccardi that can be seen below, is currently available to pre-order via Amazon and iTunes. Check out the full track listing below.
