"It's about a dangerous time in civilization, the end of life," says vocalist-guitarist Tim McIlrath about 'Endgame,' Rise Against's sixth studio album. "What if the world we created is a place that is so unnatural and ugly that it needs to come to an end, so that we could have a world that is better for everybody? It sounds very Utopian, but it's not about a perfect place. Maybe some of these things we're doing, they need to come to an end."

Released in March, 'Endgame' entered the Billboard charts at number two, giving Rise Against their highest chart entry to date. The Chicago punk rockers -- McIlrath, bassist Joe Principe, drummer Brandon Barnes, and guitarist Zach Blair – are now connecting with a mass audience. However, the band has not sacrificed any of its hard-hitting political message or sonic attack.

The classic Rise Against sound is evident in the song 'Help Is on the Way,' which features a stomping double-guitar riff, a chorus reminiscent of vintage Hüsker Dü, and a screaming breakdown that recalls the days when Rise Against were still duking it out on the basement circuit. The song's new video captures the intensity of its political lyrics and driving rhythms.

Directed by Alan Ferguson, Rise Against's film crew went to New Orleans to film what became a dramatic and compelling narrative of Hurricane Katrina through the eyes of a family.

"As a band, we opted out of being a part of the piece for fear our role might diminish the importance of this video and skew its reception," said the band in a statement. "What follows is another video we are proud to put our name on."
