Rhino Reissuing Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Buckcherry Albums + More on Vinyl

Are you missing some of the most essential rock and metal albums in your record collection? Circle the whole month of October on your calendar because Rhino Records is celebrating "Rocktober," reissuing a swath of classic albums in the beloved vinyl format.

On each Tuesday throughout all of October, Rhino will be releasing select titles, some of which are only available in the U.S., some being limited edition runs and others arriving in specially colored vinyl with posters included. The release schedule is as follows:

Oct. 4: Deep Purple, Machine Head (U.S. only, limited to 2,500 copies, clear vinyl); Foreigner, 4 (U.S. only, 2,400 copies, red vinyl); Jet, Get Born (U.S. only, 180 gram vinyl); Twisted Sister, Stay Hungry (U.S. only, 2,500 copies, black and pink starburst vinyl, band poster)

Oct. 11: Iron Butterfly, Heavy (180 gram vinyl); ZZ Top, Eliminator (red vinyl)

Oct. 18: Alice Cooper, Billion Dollar Babies (U.S. only, 3,000 copies, green, orange and yellow marble vinyl, $1 billion bill insert); Small Faces, First Step (orange vinyl); the Stooges, The Stooges (gold and brown vinyl)

Oct. 25: Buckcherry, 15 (U.S. only, 10th anniversary edition); Heaven & Hell, The Devil You Know (U.S. only, 2,000 copies, 2 LP, dark orange and gold vinyl with etching on Side 4, band poster) the Flamin' Groovies, Groovies Greatest Grooves (2 LP), T. Rex, T. Rex (North America only, remastered on vinyl and CD)
