Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin Arrested for Vandalizing Neighbor With a Buzz Saw
Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin has been arrested again. The troubled frontman, who has multiple arrests to his name over the past year, has been charged with allegedly vandalizing his neighbor's property with a buzz saw.
According to TMZ, the singer and his neighbor had been feuding for some time. But law enforcement officials stated that the argument came to a head Wednesday (July 24) with the vocalist allegedly whipping out a buzz saw, which he supposedly used on his neighbor's patio.
Sources also state that Scantlin allegedly also utilized a sledgehammer to take his frustrations out on a cinder block wall. The wall reportedly resides on the line between the two houses and the frontman felt his neighbor infringed on his property with the wall. The official charge was for felony vandalism.
In the past year and a half, Scantlin has been arrested for cocaine possession, an alleged drunken altercation aboard a flight (a charge that was later dropped) and for an alleged domestic disturbance incident. His ex-wife also reported that her car had been stolen earlier this year and reached out to the singer's manager demanding its return. A few hours later, she received a text with the location of the vehicle, which had been damaged, though the manager claimed that Scantlin was not responsible for the alleged theft.
