Our favorite Canadian prog-metallers Protest the Hero will return to the US for a three-week headlining tour, which will run from Nov. 28 through Dec. 22. So the band will be going right up until the holidays. What a good way to pass the time, right? They'll be supported by Scale the Summit and Last Chance to Reason on these dates. Local bands will open most dates, so it'll be a deafening evening with quality metal bands filling the bill.

Protest the Hero will be out in support of 'Scurrilous,' their 2011 album. "I don't really have any idea what people are going to think of it," joked vocalist Rody Walker around the time of the album's March release date. "In my mind, it seems like such a departure, but when I sit and listen it seems like such a natural progression."
