Ozzy Osbourne Is a Grandfather Again as Son Jack Welcomes Second Baby Girl
Ozzy Osbourne is a grandpa six times over. The metal legend's son Jack Osbourne's wife Lisa gave birth to the couple's second child, a baby girl, over the weekend. According to Hello! Magazine, the couple named their new daughter Andy Rose Osbourne and she was born on Saturday, June 13, weighing in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces. The couple already has a 3-year-old girl named Pearl Clementine.
Ozzy is a big softy when it comes to his grandchildren. Back in March, Jack shared a photo of his dad doing arts and crafts with Pearl. And Pearl certainly idolizes her grandpa, even dressing up as him for Halloween in 2013. The pair always seem to have a good time when they're together, the 'Prince of Darkness' even rang in the New Year a few years back with Pearl.
Jack and Lisa announced they were expecting their second child back in February and while things went smoothly most of the nine months, they had a scare just last month. Lisa was involved in a car accident in May and had to be taken to the hospital and monitored for 24 hours to make sure everything was okay. Thankfully, she was fine.
While Ozzy hasn’t commented on the news of his new granddaughter yet on Twitter, he did post a link to his song “Mama, I’m coming home.” Back in 2012 around the time Pearl was born, Ozzy's wife Sharon talked of the fatherly advice Ozzy passed down to Jack. She commented, “[He told Jack] you will never experience a love like this. It’s a very, very special love.”
Ozzy Osbourne is taking a little time off right now, before heading back out on the road with Black Sabbath. The group is expected to head out on a farewell tour in 2016.
