Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil and Static-X’s Wayne Static to Receive Special Awards

Congrats are in order for Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil. Neil will be the recipient of Vegas Rocks! Magazine's award for "Lifetime Achievement in Rock 'n' Roll.' Neil will receive the prestigious honor on August 21st Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards, which will be held in the main showroom of the Las Vegas Hilton. This year marks the second go-round for the Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards; the debut ceremony took place last August and was such as success that mag head honcho Sally Steele is, in the immortal words of Ratt, back for more!

The awards will include a red-carpet and a guest list that includes hard rock notables like

Rob Zombie guitarist John 5, who will be feted with the "Best Rock Guitarist" award while Wayne Static of Static-X will be awarded "Best Metal Performer" award. Steven Adler of Guns N' Roses will also be on hand.
